Filling:

  • 14 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 0.5 oz flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2.2 lb lean ground beef (95% lean)
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 5.2 oz pepperoni, coarsely chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Spray oil

Assembling:

  • 6 large wraps (10-inch)
  • 7.05 oz shredded low-fat mozzarella
  • Sauce of your choice

Instructions

  1. Mix onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and oregano.
  2. Brown lean ground beef in sprayed pan; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add pepperoni and spice mixture; cook 2 more minutes.
  4. Mix in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and parsley; simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Assemble wraps: spread filling, sprinkle cheese, add sauce, roll tightly.
  6. Toast wraps in oven at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes or air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 8–10 minutes until crispy. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Drain excess moisture from beef to avoid soggy wraps.
  • Don’t overfill; leave border to seal properly.
  • Let filling cool slightly before rolling to prevent melted cheese issues.
  • Seal edges with water and place seam-side down when toasting.
