Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar
Instructions
Add softened butter to a mixing bowl and beat until light and creamy, about 3 minutes.
Pour in sweetened condensed milk and beat for 2 minutes until combined. Add flavoring if desired (no more than 2 teaspoons).
Scrape down the bowl and beat again for 1–2 minutes.
Add flour and baking powder and mix until fully combined. Fold in optional add-ins if desired (no more than 1 cup).
Scoop dough into mounds onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
Bake at 320°F for 12 minutes.
Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes.
Transfer to a wire rack and dust generously with confectioner’s sugar once cooled.
