Prepared with only five ingredients, Sweetened Condensed Milk Snowballs are light, fluffy, and only slightly sweet. These simple cookies are easy to make, budget-friendly, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar

Instructions

  1. Add softened butter to a mixing bowl and beat until light and creamy, about 3 minutes.
  2. Pour in sweetened condensed milk and beat for 2 minutes until combined. Add flavoring if desired (no more than 2 teaspoons).
  3. Scrape down the bowl and beat again for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Add flour and baking powder and mix until fully combined. Fold in optional add-ins if desired (no more than 1 cup).
  5. Scoop dough into mounds onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  6. Bake at 320°F for 12 minutes.
  7. Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes.
  8. Transfer to a wire rack and dust generously with confectioner’s sugar once cooled.
