  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1 refrigerated crescent roll dough sheet

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and let cool slightly.
  3. Press crescent roll dough into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Evenly layer cooked sausage over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the sausage.
  6. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, pepper, salt, garlic, and onion.
  7. Pour egg mixture evenly over the layers.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes until set and golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly, slice into squares, and serve warm.
