Easy One Pot Chicken and Noodles is a quick 30-minute comfort meal made with tender chicken, egg noodles, and a rich creamy mushroom sauce all cooked in a single pot.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 cups uncooked egg noodles
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (rotisserie)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion in butter for 4–5 minutes.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in chicken broth, cream, and cream of mushroom soup. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add egg noodles and cook uncovered for about 10 minutes, stirring often.
  5. Stir in cooked chicken and heat through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

  • Add extra broth if noodles absorb too much liquid.
  • Lower heat if sauce reduces too quickly.
  • Use low-sodium broth if preferred.
