This Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles is a quick, flavorful dish made with savory beef, a sweet and garlicky sauce, and tender noodles. It’s an easy weeknight meal that’s rich, satisfying, and full of bold Asian-inspired flavors.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 10 oz linguine
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 4 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in brown sugar, beef broth, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ginger, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry, then add to skillet and stir until sauce thickens (2–3 minutes).
  6. Add cooked noodles and toss to coat evenly in sauce.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
