A delightful lemon-flavored pizza that adds a zesty twist to the classic pie.

Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 5 oz fresh mozzarella
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley and black pepper to finish

Instructions

  1. Prepare and stretch pizza dough.
  2. Preheat oven and prepare baking surface.
  3. Mix olive oil, water, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread mixture over dough and add mozzarella.
  5. Bake 8–10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Finish with lemon juice, parmesan, parsley, and black pepper.

Notes

  • Use a pizza stone for best texture.
  • Baking sheet can be used as an alternative.
  • Best served fresh and hot.
