1.5 lbs flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
3/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
1/3 cup honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water (slurry)
3 cups broccoli florets (steamed separately)
Green onions (optional)
Sesame seeds (optional)
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Slice beef thinly against the grain.
Sauté beef in Instant Pot with olive oil until browned, then set aside.
Mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, and sesame oil.
Return beef and add sauce, then pressure cook 10 minutes.
Natural release 5 minutes, then quick release.
Steam broccoli separately until just tender.
Switch to sauté mode and add cornstarch slurry to thicken sauce.
Combine broccoli with beef and sauce.
Serve with rice or noodles and garnish if desired.
