This honey garlic chicken and sweet potato sheet pan dinner is a quick, flavorful, and satisfying one-pan meal. Juicy chicken is coated in a sweet and savory glaze, then baked with tender sweet potatoes and green beans for an easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Toss sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast sweet potatoes for 15 minutes.
  6. Push sweet potatoes aside and add chicken and green beans to the pan.
  7. Pour remaining marinade over everything.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F and vegetables are tender.
