This One-Pan Honey BBQ Chicken and Rice recipe is quick and scrumptious, combining juicy chicken and fluffy rice in a rich honey BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 cups long-grain white rice
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Mix barbecue sauce and honey.
  2. Sear chicken in olive oil until golden.
  3. Sauté onion and garlic.
  4. Add rice and toast briefly.
  5. Add broth and return chicken to pan.
  6. Drizzle sauce over everything.
  7. Cover and simmer 18–20 minutes.
  8. Rest 5 minutes and serve.
