Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a rich and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce with white wine, butter, and herbs. It’s a comforting and elegant meal perfect for weeknights or special dinners.

  • Sauce:
  • 1 ¾ cups chicken broth
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ chicken bouillon cube
  • ½ teaspoon each onion powder, oregano, basil, parsley
  • Chicken:
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons parsley
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¾ cup dry white wine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix all sauce ingredients in a measuring cup and set aside.
  2. Slice chicken in half lengthwise and pound to ½ inch thickness.
  3. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  4. Sear chicken in olive oil 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove.
  5. Add wine to skillet, scrape pan, and reduce for 2 minutes.
  6. Add garlic and cook until reduced by half.
  7. Stir in butter and flour; cook 1–2 minutes.
  8. Slowly add sauce mixture while stirring. Simmer 8 minutes.
  9. Add Parmesan and lemon juice; stir until smooth.
  10. Return chicken, coat with sauce, and heat 5 minutes. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting and flavor.
  • Dry white wines like Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay work best.
  • Chicken broth can replace wine if needed.
  • Store up to 3 days in fridge or 3 months frozen.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
