Garlic butter lobster tails are a simple yet luxurious seafood dish perfect for special occasions or elevated weeknight dinners. Tender lobster meat is broiled and topped with rich garlic butter sauce for maximum flavor with minimal effort.

  • 2 lobster tails (56 oz each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to broil and position rack in the middle.
  2. Cut lobster shells lengthwise using kitchen shears and gently lift meat on top.
  3. Mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Brush lobster tails generously with garlic butter.
  5. Broil for 8–10 minutes until meat is opaque and lightly golden.
  6. Baste with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle parsley on top.
  7. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
