Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts into the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until chicken is tender.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker and stir into the sauce.
  7. Add cooked fettuccine and toss gently until fully coated.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add broccoli or spinach for extra texture and nutrition.
  • Use penne or linguine instead of fettuccine for variety.
  • Freshly grated Parmesan provides the smoothest Alfredo sauce.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
