Quick and easy cheesy ground beef pasta loaded with flavor. Creamy, satisfying, and perfect for family dinners or busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz rigatoni or pasta of choice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sauté onion until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute.
  4. Add tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5–7 minutes.
  5. Add cooked pasta and stir to combine.
  6. Stir in half the cheese, sprinkle the rest on top, and cover until melted.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.

Notes

  • Use any cheese blend you like — Monterey Jack or Parmesan work great.
  • For extra creaminess, stir in a spoonful of sour cream or cream cheese.
  • Optional: Bake 15 minutes at 375°F for a crispy cheesy top.
  • Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container up to 3 days.
