Air Fryer Sweet Chili Chicken and Brussels Sprouts is a quick, high-protein meal packed with flavor. Chicken breasts are coated in a sweet and spicy chili sauce, while Brussels sprouts turn crispy in the air fryer, making it perfect for meal prep or a fast dinner.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb/450g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix olive oil, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger, and honey in a small bowl.
  3. Season chicken with salt and pepper and coat with the sauce.
  4. Place chicken in air fryer basket and cook 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Season Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and air fry 8–10 minutes until crispy, shaking halfway.
  6. Rest chicken a few minutes before slicing. Serve with Brussels sprouts and drizzle remaining sauce.

  • Make extra sweet chili sauce to drizzle for added flavor.
  • Works with chicken thighs or pork tenderloin.
